Occupational Therapists
Ashley Lendsay
BSc (Kin); MSc (OT); OT Reg (SK)
Originally from a farm in Goodeve, Saskatchewan, Ashley moved to Saskatoon to pursue her post-secondary education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014, followed by a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2017. Ashley got her start in pediatric Occupational Therapy at Theraplay, where she’s been a part of the team since August 2018. At Theraplay, she enjoys a balance of working one-on-one with children in the clinic while also partnering with schools across central and northern Saskatchewan to support students in their learning environments.
Ashley’s practice is grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based framework, with a strong emphasis on building meaningful relationships with clients and school teams. She has completed advanced training in pediatric feeding challenges, including ARFID, utilizing a research-based, child-led approach that honors each family’s unique food culture and values. Additionally, Ashley has pursued further training in the areas of sensory integration, anxiety management, introductory ASL, primitive reflex integration, autism (including PDA profiles), transfer-lifting-repositioning (TLR), trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), indigenous practices, and treatment of bowel and bladder dysfunction affecting toileting skills.
Outside of work, Ashley has competed nationally with various adult mixed and women’s ultimate frisbee teams for over a decade. She is also a member of a competitive adult Latin dance team that travels for competitions and supports community-led dance initiatives. She also enjoys climbing, backcountry camping, exploring new trails and mountain summits, yoga, and spending quality time with her husband, Brett, and family.
Chloe Kjargaard
BSc (Kin); MSc (OT); OT Reg (SK)
Chloe completed her Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology in 2018 from the University of Saskatchewan before completing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta. Following her schooling, Chloe began her Occupational Therapy career with the Saskatchewan Health Authority working with adult and pediatric populations. Although, born and raised in Prince Albert, Chloe now calls Saskatoon home after joining the Theraplay team in October 2021.
Chloe’s greatest passion is supporting her clients on their journey to empowerment and independence. She recognizes that no singular client is alike, and she enjoys working with her clients and families to find the right approach to best meet their needs. Chloe has a special interest in early childhood development and when she isn’t in the clinic you can find her at the dog park, bookstore or spending time with family.
Coleen Honra
BASc; MSc (OT); OT Reg (SK)
Coleen graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science, majoring in Health Studies and minoring in Psychology. Her passion for working with children and families has guided her career, with experience in daycares, before- and after-school programs, autism services programs, and camps. Coleen has also been actively involved in community initiatives, including volunteering with newcomer programs to support refugee parents and children, as well as contributing to university and local community projects. She previously worked at a non-profit organization supporting caregivers of children aged 0–5, where she began as a program facilitator and later became the Centre Coordinator.
Coleen received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2024. She practices within a developmental, sensory, and relationship-based framework, emphasizing the importance of building meaningful connections with her clients. She is dedicated to empowering parents and caregivers to feel confident in supporting their child’s unique needs.
In her spare time, Coleen enjoys volunteering at community events, staying active, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
Jessica Elias Lopez
BPHE, MOT, OT Reg (SK)
Jessica is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education from the University of Winnipeg. She completed her Masters of Occupational Therapy at the University of Manitoba and began working at Theraplay in 2019.
Jessica has always enjoyed working with children and adults of varying abilities and needs, which is what led her to occupational therapy. Jessica’s time at Theraplay is split between working with clients in the clinic and within schools across central and northern Saskatchewan. She enjoys the mix of being able to work collaboratively with caregivers, school teams, and other health professionals. Jessica practices within a sensory integration and developmental frame of reference, using a strength-based and neurodiversity affirming approach. She has completed additional training and professional development related to sensory processing, neurodiversity, trauma, mealtime challenges, toilet learning, primitive reflexes, pediatric anxiety, DIR floortime, transfer-lifting-repositioning (TLR), school-based skills, and is certified in the Safe and Sound Listening Protocol. Jessica is fluent in French and Spanish and provides services in both languages. She has a strong interest in child and youth mental health and incorporating positive mental health practices into her services. Jessica strongly believes in the power of relationship, letting kids lead, and shared joy with her clients to help meet their unique needs, as well as empowering clients to better understand their brains, bodies and emotions.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, canoeing, skateboarding, snowboarding, spending time in the mountains, and being with family and friends.
Kendra MacDonald
BSc (Kin); MSc (OT); OT Reg (SK)
Kendra was born and raised in Saskatoon, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. She went on to earn her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2022 and began her career at Theraplay in 2023.
Her experiences working in schools, coaching figure skating, leading children’s activity camps, and volunteering with the Physical Activity for Active Living program have all contributed to her passion for working as a pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT).
As a pediatric OT, Kendra has pursued additional training in sensory integration, interoception, and handwriting development through the Learning Without Tears program. At Theraplay, she works closely with families and school teams in both clinic and school settings to support children’s development and participation.
Outside of work, Kendra enjoys staying active, playing sports, and coaching figure skating. She also values time spent with family and friends, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
Sierra Davey
BSc (Kin); MSc (OT); OT Reg (SK)
Sierra grew up in Saskatoon, completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2022, followed by a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2024. Sierra began working with Theraplay in 2024.
With a longstanding passion for working with children, Sierra has spent several years coaching and leading youth sports programs.
Sierra has participated in various training related to interoception, and printing and cursive intervention (Handwriting Without Tears). She is further developing her expertise in pediatric eating and feeding.
Outside of work, Sierra enjoys engaging in various fitness classes, spending time with friends and family, and going for walks with her dog, Evie!

Jesse Falcon
Originally from Manitoba, Jesse has settled in Saskatoon with her family and continues to foster a long distance relationship with Winnipeg. However, what she genuinely does love, is helping people. Theraplay has provided her with the perfect outlet to contribute to the community in a meaningful way.
